What happens at your appointment?
Dear Friend of RMUK,
Please see below an informative guide on our new policies and procedures along with information on the steps we are taking to help keep you and our team safe.
We will send you a health check questionnaire the day before your appointment.
We ask that if you are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of Corona Virus you re-schedule your appointment, our team will do the same.
Guest and Team members will have their temperature taken upon arrival at the Salon to help reduce the risk open to us all.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment.
Upon arrival you will be greeted and checked in as normal, We will hand you your personal bag with disposable towels and clean gown to wear if having hair services, all guests will be directed to the bathroom for hand washing facilities, on your way to the bathroom, please leave your coat on the rack in the corridor situated behind reception, If attending for Hair Services please take your bag with towel up to the salon.
If attending for Beauty Services, after dropping off your coat and hand washing you will be directed to the Beauty Area on the first floor where your Therapist will be waiting .
As there is no waiting area in the salon, we ask for you to attend your appointment on your own.
At this time, we are unable to accept children in the salon.
Please travel lite do not bring large bags to your appointment, the maximum size bag is a small handbag and the size of a laptop bag or small rucksack. We will not be able to store anything.
Our team will all be wearing a visor along with any other required PPE.
We kindly ask that you also wear a face mask, If you do not have one, they can be purchased at the salon
At this time in the interest of safety here will be no shared Magazines available.
All rooms, styling stations, and non-disposable tools will be thoroughly sanitized in-between each guest visit.
Please observe our social distancing procedure when at the salon, where this is not possible there is protection in the form of screens.
To facilitate appointment running smooth we ask to attend without any root touch up sprays or powders your hair must be clean and dry.
At the end of your appointment you will leave the salon via the side door where your coat will be. One of our reception team will then contact you the following day to arrange your next appointment.
New payment method - We have introduced a new Virtual terminal to eliminate contact at reception, you will receive an email with a link to a secure virtual terminal to pay for your appointment prior to your attending, any extras can be paid for on attending, you might request your favoured Home care Retail at any time on arranging your visit or on the day.
Please note, that our cancelation policy has changed and that we require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice for appointments to be re-scheduled or cancelled.
